Laurie “Gull” Babineau, BFA, M.Ed.

“The one thing in this world I cannot imagine is NOT creating art, I was born this way. My work grows from the wonderment of nature, the musings of story tellers and the speculation of the unknown. The act of creating is in itself the art, the end product merely states, I was here.”

This journey began during a fourth of July picnic, when I came into this world kicking and screaming. A life of ups and downs but always planning and dreaming of a better way with each lesson learned and obstacle cleared. Immersed in the arts from an early age I have danced by way of many teachers and cultures, learned of the earth from Native Americans and outdoorsmen, honed my art skills from crafters and fine artists and balanced my health and well being by way of healers. It is desire to share what I have learned and to experience the beauty and creativity in others that brings me to the center.
